Created in 2018, the House of Devereaux began as a fashion, lifestyle and travel blog chronicling the happenings of living internationally through LE DEVEREAUX DOSSIER.

However we always knew we would be more than just a blog.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas- Dominique Devereaux Bedford was the typical girly girl who wanted to be a prima ballerina when she grew up or at the very least dress them i.e. a costume designer. She played with paper dolls and loved how all the possibilities of dressing these fictional people were fabulously endless.

She designed her first piece- a denim bag in high school out of old black jeans and knew then that she was determined and destined to have the career of a professional creative.

Dominique graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Fashion and Business from Texas State University-San Marco and a Masters of Science in Merchandising and Business from the University of North Texas in Denton.

She has worked in almost every aspect of the industry and funneled her more than 15+ years of industry experience into creating the House of Devereaux where the house motto is "it's all in the details" and our house philosophy is "people will stare- so make it worth their while".

As a creator of power suits and separates for the "bold professional re-defined" as well as a style strategist- she has worked with countless women and men helping them cultivate their own personal style and believes that power suits can be worn as your armor, getting you "suited" up in confidence. 

Her designs are inspired by powerful people of influence from public figures to women that she knows personally like her paternal grandmother- Josephine and the original Dominique Devereaux- Diahann Carroll.

With an extensive client list that ranges from stay at home moms seeking career transition to creative entrepreneurs to dignitaries and professionals- the umbrella brand of Style By Devereaux offers a variety of services ranging from custom design to closet re-organization, personal/virtual styling and professional brand development.
